## [AionLabs: Aion-3.0](https://ailoot.ai/models/en/aion-labs-aion-3-0/)

Aion 3.0 is Aion Labs’ collaborative text model for immersive roleplay and storytelling, with a 128K context and up to 32K output. Its producer describes stronger narrative structure and conflict, with optional reasoning controlled by effort.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Aion 3.0 is a collaborative storytelling and roleplay system from Aion Labs. The maker describes several specialised models contributing to a response, aimed at stronger narrative structure, compelling tension and conflict and more nuanced treatment of darker themes. It processes a text conversation and generates text. A scene brief can provide a setting, competing character goals and the event that changes the situation, then request a coherent continuation.

The model’s published profile has a 128K context and up to 32K output. It is a separate edition from Aion 3.0 Mini and the later 3.5 releases; the shared narrative purpose does not make their composition or controls interchangeable. For an ongoing work, include relevant history and the current state of the story. Identify established facts, viewpoint and unresolved threads, keeping irrelevant background out of the next request and leaving room for the result.

Reasoning is optional through reasoning\_effort. The valid values are none, low, medium, high and max, with medium as the default. None disables reasoning, although the maker says the older narrative models are tuned to use it and results can degrade when it is disabled. With reasoning\_split enabled by default, analysis and visible narration are separate fields. Both use the completion allowance, so the requested cap needs room for reasoning and the actual passage.

For roleplay, specify the fictional role the model should inhabit and the actions reserved for the reader. Give the immediate stakes and let the scene’s consequences follow from the supplied world. An illustrative request can ask for a dispute where a character’s visible behaviour and underlying goal are in tension, with the turn ending before the reader’s response. This defines a concrete narrative result without forcing every future development into the prompt.

For story editing, supply a passage and name the structural issue to resolve. Ask for a replacement scene that keeps important facts and relationships while changing pacing or the causal transition. The producer supports conversation history and streaming text, with explicit generation and stop controls. The useful artifact is the complete continuation or revision, while creating files or executing tool requests belongs to the application. Preserve this edition’s own context and reasoning settings instead of importing those of a later release.

Practical task

### Negotiate a fictional gate passage

Technical example in English

```
Negotiate a fictional gate passage
Play the harbor keeper in a fogbound city. I am a courier carrying a sealed letter; the council has forbidden entry after dusk, but your missing sister may be inside. Write two or three short lines with restrained tension, then stop before deciding my reply or actions.
```

#### Expected result

```
Two or three in-character lines, with brief scene detail and an unresolved choice for the courier.
```

#### Check the result

```
Check that the keeper has a conflicting duty and personal motive, and that the courier remains under the reader’s control.
```
