## [AionLabs: Aion-RP 1.0 (8B)](https://ailoot.ai/models/en/aion-labs-aion-rp-llama-3-1-8b/)

Aion-RP 1.0 (8B) is Aion Labs’ 8B text model tuned for immersive roleplaying and storytelling. Its maker lists a 32K context and up to 32K output; reasoning\_effort is not supported on this edition.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Aion-RP 1.0 (8B) is Aion Labs’ 8B roleplay edition, specialised for immersive fictional conversation and storytelling. The maker describes a variant of an existing 8B language foundation, with its own narrative purpose and profile. It takes text and returns text. A useful brief supplies the fictional persona, setting and immediate situation and asks for a response that remains consistent with the given role rather than a general-purpose explanation.

The published profile lists a 32K context and up to 32K output. Those are the maker’s separate window and generation figures; the input, retained conversation and requested result still need to fit the workflow. This model is distinct from the larger-context Aion 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 systems. Do not infer their collaborative generation or later context sizes merely from the shared Aion name. Retain only the story history needed for the next exchange, with important character facts clearly identified.

The producer’s reasoning\_effort control is not supported on this edition. The reasoning levels and disabling rules of the other Aion models therefore are not a way to configure Aion-RP. Prepare the task through the role, tone, relevant facts and requested response format. A short dialogue turn and a longer prose scene need different stopping conditions even when they use the same model.

For roleplay, define who the model writes and which actions remain for the reader. Supply the participant’s goals and what they know at the current point in the story. An illustrative brief can ask for an in-character reply that expresses hesitation through dialogue and behaviour without deciding the reader’s next action. A clear point of view and the established relationships help make the result usable as the next turn of an ongoing scene.

For storytelling or revision, provide the passage and the change needed: clearer motivation, more distinct dialogue or a transition that connects two events. Ask for complete scene text in the format expected by the application. The general producer interface defines conversation history, generation limits and streaming, while per-model capabilities remain separate. No knowledge cutoff, additional reasoning mode, native image or audio output is inferred from the underlying foundation’s name. The useful result is a coherent text passage that follows the supplied fictional role and setting.

Practical task

### A reluctant lighthouse keeper

Technical example in English

```
A reluctant lighthouse keeper
Play Mara, a lighthouse keeper who suspects the arriving merchant stole her brother's compass. The merchant says, 'I only need shelter until dawn.' Write two short in-character replies separated by one action beat. Show Mara's suspicion without revealing the accusation or deciding what the merchant does next.
```

#### Expected result

```
Two dialogue lines by Mara with one intervening action beat; the merchant retains control of their next action.
```

#### Check the result

```
Check that Mara remains suspicious and never narrates a decision for the merchant.
```

Keep every complete returned response, file and content part.

Keep all content blocks, thinking signatures and actual tool-use IDs. Assemble all SSE block deltas; a first text block is not the complete output.

##### If the original response needs checking

Keep request/response IDs and headers. No generic text job retrieval URL is supplied.
