## [Alibaba: Wan 3.0](https://ailoot.ai/models/en/alibaba-wan-3-0/)

Alibaba Wan 3.0 creates video with sound from a prompt, first or first/last frames, and multimodal references. Its maker profile combines storyboarding, source-based editing and continuation in one model, with 2–30-second MP4 output at 30 fps and 480p, 720p or 1080p resolution.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Alibaba Wan 3.0 is an all-in-one video-creation profile designed to turn a brief and supporting material into a scene with its sound. The manufacturer identifies the standard model as wan3.0-video. Text-only generation, opening and closing frames, multimodal references, editing and continuation use different input arrangements within that profile. Useful artifacts include a short narrative, a product presentation, an image-based transition or a revised source clip whose changes follow a specific creative direction.

For a text-only scene, prepare the subject, location, action, camera, visual style and sound. The maker supports single shots and multi-shot storyboards, with a recommended structure of roughly four to six seconds per shot and optional time ranges. For a short story, introduce a small mechanical bird on a workbench, follow its first movement and finish on a held close-up as the room ambience continues. Describe the visual relationship between those beats so a thirty-second allowance serves one coherent story rather than a list of disconnected actions.

First-frame generation animates a supplied still. The still defines the initial composition, while the prompt explains motion and camera work. First/last-frame generation also anchors the ending and describes the transition between the two images. Prepare endpoints with a compatible scene and intended framing. The guide recommends adaptive aspect selection for these modes. Their frame inputs are kept separate from the reference-image, reference-video, reference-audio, file and web-link arrangements, so select the material mode that matches the planned shot.

Reference mode combines up to ten images, five video clips and five audio clips, within a total allowance of twenty materials. Image references can identify a character, object, setting or style; video can guide movement or camera work, and audio can guide performance or rhythm. Type-specific labels such as Image 1, Video 1 and Audio 1 follow the input order independently. Give each reference a role and describe how it should interact with the others. A correct-looking character in the wrong setting is a different failure from a camera that misses the intended movement.

The documented reference-file limits are 20 MB for each image, 100 MB for each video and 15 MB for each audio clip. Reference videos together are limited to fifteen seconds, and audio references have a separate fifteen-second combined limit. One document or one public web-page reference can accompany reference material; a document and link are mutually exclusive. The source must be publicly accessible without a login. Prepare a focused source and state which content should inform the clip, especially when a document contains more information than the scene can use.

Native audio combines dialogue, background music, ambience and sound effects with the generated picture. State the words to be spoken, the speaker and delivery, the important effects and whether background music should be present. Audio is enabled by default in the maker’s guide and can be disabled. For a demonstration scene, a short introductory line can precede a product detail while a quiet mechanical sound marks the movement. Listen to the completed clip for actual wording, attribution and synchronization rather than judging the audio from the written brief alone.

For an edit, describe the change and the retained content. The guide covers adding or removing elements, replacing attributes, changing visual style or lighting and revising dialogue. For continuation, describe what should occur before, after or around the existing clip. Adaptive framing and smart duration help the source-video workflow preserve its shape and timing intent. When video input is supplied, the documented combined input and output video duration must not exceed 30 seconds. Retain the original source and inspect the changed region as well as continuity across the whole clip.

Output is MP4 at 30 fps, with 480p, 720p or 1080p resolution. New-generation durations range from two to thirty seconds, or a smart-duration setting can let the model choose the length. Landscape, square and portrait shapes are documented, with adaptive framing suited to supplied material. The manufacturer processes the request as a job and returns a completed video location valid for twenty-four hours. Keep the actual result, brief and references as the production record, and verify the returned duration and framing before arranging it with other clips.

Standard Wan 3.0 and its Prime variant share the documented all-in-one modes; Prime emphasizes generation speed. Wan 2.7 and 2.6 have distinct task-specific duration and reference rules, so their interfaces should not be treated as this edition’s configuration. Review the finished scene for character and product identity, spatial continuity, speech, effects, source-derived details and the intended beginning and ending. A specific next correction preserves the successful direction while addressing the actual defect found in the clip.

| Response400 · `invalid_request_error` | ConditionThe request could not be read, or the download index is invalid. | Next stepCorrect the request body. For a download, choose an output index returned by the original task. |
| Response422 · `price_unavailable` | ConditionThe selected video configuration cannot be priced. | Next stepChoose a supported video configuration and complete its required options before submitting a corrected request. |
| Response422 · `invalid_request_error` | ConditionA video input or original continuation task is invalid. | Next stepUse valid HTTPS inputs. For continuation, use your completed original public video ID with the same API key. |
| Response402 · `billing_error` | ConditionThe available balance or limits do not allow a reservation. | Next stepCheck your available balance and limits before sending a new request. |
| Response503 · `server_error` | ConditionVideo verification, storage or service access is temporarily unavailable. | Next stepWait for service availability. If you already have a video ID, check that original task instead of creating another generation. |
| Response503 · `result_pending_check` | ConditionThe original video result and charge need checking. | Next stepKeep the returned video ID and check that task. Do not send a replacement generation request while it is being checked. |
| Response503 · `owned_result_unavailable` | ConditionThe existing video download is temporarily unavailable. | Next stepCheck the same video task later and download its existing output. A new generation creates a separate operation. |
| Response409 · `video_not_ready` | ConditionThe video content has not been published. | Next stepCheck the original task status. Download after it reports completed; if it reports failed, follow its charge-check notice. |
