## [Google: Veo 3.1 Fast](https://ailoot.ai/models/en/google-veo-3-1-fast/)

Veo 3.1 Fast is Google’s video model for short text- or image-led scenes with generated sound. Its production profile returns four-, six- or eight-second MP4 clips at 24 fps, with 720p or 1080p output and guided opening or ending frames.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Veo 3.1 Fast is Google’s fast video-generation profile for a short scene described in text or established by an image. It combines the visual shot with generated sound and supports guided opening and ending frames. Use it for developing a scene concept, preparing short creative variations or making a compact audiovisual segment with a clear action and visual direction.

Build the brief around the subject, action and setting. Then add the framing, camera movement, lighting and visual treatment that make the shot useful. An original product brief might show a small ceramic lamp on a wooden desk, with the camera slowly approaching as the light turns on and a quiet switch sound accompanies the action. The subject and visible event describe the picture; the sound direction describes the listening experience.

Write the scene direction in English, as specified by the producer’s prompt profile. Keep the main action proportionate to the clip length and distinguish a camera movement from the subject’s movement. A wide establishing view, a close-up of a texture and a shot following a moving object answer different creative questions. Choose the view that communicates the intended detail rather than combining unrelated camera directions in one short shot.

For an image-led scene, prepare a clear starting image that already establishes the appearance and composition. The motion brief can then concentrate on the event that follows. An ending frame can provide a visual destination for the transition. Keep the important subject details and style coherent between the frames, or describe the intended transformation explicitly. Review the transition itself as well as its opening and final image.

The maker’s production profile supports four-, six- or eight-second clips, landscape 16:9 or portrait 9:16 framing, and up to four video outputs per prompt. Fast output is 720p or 1080p, at 24 frames per second, in MP4 format. The image-led profile accepts JPEG or PNG, lists a maximum input image size of 20 MB and supports 720p/1080p input configurations. Prepare the composition for its intended orientation and keep the input within that image allowance.

Sound can be part of the generated scene. Describe any spoken line, environmental sound or relevant effect with the visible action, identifying the subject that should speak and the event that should make the sound. Keep dialogue short enough for the intended performance and distinguish it from atmosphere or music. Audio generation follows the written scene brief; an audio recording is not among the documented normal inputs for this profile.

The current production profile also lists asset-reference generation and video extension. References guide the appearance of a subject or object, while boundary frames guide the opening and ending composition. Select reference material whose role is clear in the scene rather than treating every image as an interchangeable control. For a continuing clip, choose the separate extension workflow and describe what should happen after the existing action; its input handling is distinct from a new text-led shot.

A negative description can identify content or visual treatments you want to avoid. Keep the main prompt focused on the scene you want and make the exclusions specific to the task. For a product variation, preserve the subject and framing while changing one detail, such as a light direction or material treatment. Retain the settings and reference bundle when comparing results so the creative difference remains clear.

Veo 3.1 Fast and the regular Veo 3.1 profile remain distinct choices. The documented Fast production output is 720p/1080p; the regular profile also lists 4K. Keep the selected edition and its output settings with the artifact instead of treating a Preview identifier or another Veo version as an automatic synonym for this production profile.

The workflow creates a generation operation and exposes the returned video files after completion. Keep every actual output selected for review, together with its brief, source frames and relevant settings. An operation identifier is a record of the generation; the completed MP4 artifact is what can be played and used in the edit. Preserve any supplied content-provenance metadata with the video.

Review the subject’s appearance, requested action, camera treatment and sound across the full clip. Check dialogue intelligibility and the relationship between sound and visible events before using it in a longer composition. The useful result can be a concept shot, a product reveal or a short narrative segment, with later titles, transitions and other editing added in the surrounding production workflow.
