About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

#### Complex code and professional material

GPT-6.1 Sol is an OpenAI model for complex coding, interaction with computer interfaces and professional work. It accepts text and images and returns text. Its purpose includes tasks that combine reasoning with sequential actions and account for the results obtained.

The model supports streaming and structured output. A response can be received as it forms, and particular fields and data types specified for subsequent processing. Visual input is used for image analysis; the direct result remains text.

#### Reasoning is enabled

`low`, `medium`, `high`, `xhigh` and `max` are available. The standard level is `medium`. `none` and `minimal` are not supported, so disabled or minimal reasoning cannot be selected for this model.

Alongside reasoning effort, OpenAI provides ordinary and extended execution modes. Ordinary mode is the default. Extended mode targets difficult tasks where longer waiting and greater token use are acceptable. Mode chooses the processing approach, and reasoning depth operates within it; these are independent settings. Selection is provided for `Responses` and requires application support, so manufacturer availability does not confirm its inclusion in Ailoot's current method.

Effort controls work toward the solution. Final-text length is a separate requirement: a brief result can be requested for a complex task. During response formation, internal reasoning also uses the output budget; maximum output does not mean a guaranteed visible-answer length.

#### Tools and format limitations

Tool calls require `Responses`. `Chat Completions` supports text exchange without tool calls. This limitation belongs to the model itself and matters when choosing how to perform a task.

The official card lists file and web search, code and command execution, file changes, computer actions and search for a connected tool. In a custom call, the model specifies the function and arguments, and the application performs the action and supplies the result. The actual set depends on the method and provided connections.

With appropriate connections, the manufacturer also provides a separate image-generation tool, work with skills and external tools through MCP. The model's direct response remains text; a separate tool creates the image-generation result. Its availability with the manufacturer does not mean these capabilities are connected in every Ailoot method.

#### Continuing tasks and repeated input

GPT-6.1 Sol supports use of available reasoning state from earlier steps. It helps continue a multi-step task when the required history elements are supplied. A repeated input prefix can be cached; reasoning retention and caching are intended for different parts of the workflow.

Structured output constrains result form through a JSON schema. This allows fields to be specified in advance, but conformity to form does not replace verification of facts and values.

#### Context sizes

The manufacturer specifies a window of 1,050,000 tokens, maximum input of 922,000 and maximum output of 128,000 tokens. The knowledge snapshot is April 30, 2026. Ailoot's current catalogue specifies an input limit of 272,000 tokens for this model. Manufacturer characteristics and the selected method's limit need to be considered separately.

Practical task

### Prevent a duplicate callback transition

Technical example in English

```
Prevent a duplicate callback transition
Review this text-only callback handler: if (status==='paid') { ship(orderId); markPaid(orderId); }. Requirements: repeated callbacks must not create another shipment, and shipping may fail. Propose a state-transition design using a unique order ID and explain how the handler should recover from a shipping failure. Return pseudocode and scenario checks, without claiming deployment.
```

#### Expected result

```
A proposed state-transition table, handler pseudocode and duplicate/failure scenario checks.
```

#### Check the result

```
Check the design addresses the failure between shipping and state persistence rather than just reordering the two calls.
```
