## [grok-imagine-image-quality](https://ailoot.ai/models/en/grok-imagine-image-quality/)

Grok Imagine Image Quality creates images from text and belongs to xAI's Imagine visual family. The model also handles image inputs; Grok Imagine Image Pro is its confirmed alias.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Grok Imagine Image Quality is an xAI model whose input material can be text and images, with an image as output. Ailoot's current generation method uses **text input**: descriptions of scenes, objects and the desired visual result.

#### Image sizes

The model card lists square sizes of **1024×1024, 1408×1408 and 2048×2048**, corresponding to 1K, 1.5K and 2K. Generation control provides `resolution` selection between 1K and 2K. Listing 1.5K among result specifications does not imply a separately selectable generation mode.

#### Generating variations

From one text description, 1 to 10 images can be specified. Aspect ratio is set separately from resolution: a square, portrait or wide frame can be prepared, or proportions left to automatic selection based on request content.

#### Visual input

The model itself provides work with a source image and a text instruction. In sequential editing, each result can become material for the next step. This capability belongs to visual mode, whereas Ailoot's published generation concerns creation from text.

Grok Imagine Image Quality has no `quality` setting with `low`, `medium` and `auto`: xAI provides that choice for Image 2.0. Images are delivered as a file through a link or data in base64.

Grok Imagine Image Pro is another name for the same Grok Imagine Image Quality. Pro does not mean a separate model with different inputs, outputs or settings.

### Receive and save results

#### Ailoot · Images

Download each returned image or save its Base64 contents

- `GET /v1/media/tasks/{task_id}`
- `GET /v1/media/assets/{asset_id}/content`
- `GET /v1/media/assets`
- `GET /v1/media/assets/{asset_id}`

##### Keep all completed results

Save every completed image; retrieve each returned URL or decode its Base64 contents.

Save every data item. Decode each b64\_json or fetch every returned signed URL. Select a filename extension from the actual MIME/bytes.

##### If the original response needs checking

If an image generation or edit result requires a check, keep the original operation\_id/X-Client-Request-ID and returned result information. Recover existing owned results through the media library using actual task\_id or asset\_id values. Do not resubmit the generation/edit request or construct a polling URL from operation\_id.

### Receive and save results

#### Ailoot · Images

Download each returned image or save its Base64 contents

- `GET /v1/media/tasks/{task_id}`
- `GET /v1/media/assets/{asset_id}/content`
- `GET /v1/media/assets`
- `GET /v1/media/assets/{asset_id}`

##### Keep all completed results

Save every completed image; retrieve each returned URL or decode its Base64 contents.

Save every data item. Decode each b64\_json or fetch every returned signed URL. Select a filename extension from the actual MIME/bytes.

##### If the original response needs checking

If an image generation or edit result requires a check, keep the original operation\_id/X-Client-Request-ID and returned result information. Recover existing owned results through the media library using actual task\_id or asset\_id values. Do not resubmit the generation/edit request or construct a polling URL from operation\_id.
