About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

HappyHorse-1.1-R2V creates a new video scene from reference images and a text prompt. Alibaba designs the model to preserve recognizable characters, objects and visual style while generating movement. The references establish the scene's content and appearance, and the text describes how those elements should interact.

#### The roles of visual references

Between one and nine images can be used. They may define a character, an object, the surroundings or an artistic treatment. The prompt can identify a reference by number and name a particular object in it, linking the visual material to the relevant part of the action. This is especially useful when elements from several images need to be combined in one composition.

Unlike the mode that uses an initial frame, references here guide the content of a new scene. A text prompt is required: it connects the appearance of objects to the action, camera movement and overall staging. The manufacturer highlights visual consistency and cinematic movement. The model generates a new video rather than editing the source images.

JPEG, JPG, PNG and WEBP files of up to 20 MB each are accepted. The shorter dimension must be at least 400 pixels; material at 720P or higher is recommended. This mode takes images and text as its inputs.

#### Duration, framing and audio

The result is saved as MP4 at 24 frames per second. Duration is specified as an integer from 3 to 15 seconds. Resolution can be selected from 480P, 720P and 1080P; audio generation is supported.

Landscape, portrait and square frames are available: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 4:5, 5:4, 9:21 and 21:9. Selecting a format helps define the compositional space of the new scene in advance.

The prompt may be in any language. The limit is 5000 non-Chinese or 2500 Chinese characters, with any excess truncated. The most important reference roles, actions and movements must fit within this length. A random seed can guide similarity between variations, but does not guarantee an exact reproduction of a video.
