## [Pika 2.1](https://ailoot.ai/models/en/pika-21/)

Pika 2.1 creates a video from a prompt with optional image guidance. Describe the shot and source roles, then retrieve the original operation’s completed video through Ailoot.

- [**Ailoot Ultra · Video** `POST /v1/videos` `pika-21`](https://ailoot.ai/models/en/pika-21/#method-0)

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Select pika-21 with model and prompt in /v1/videos. The request accepts image as a string or an array of up to ten strings and also exposes negative\_prompt. Use the prompt to describe the subject, setting, visible action and camera direction.

For a text-led scene, establish the composition before adding motion. For an image-guided clip, explain what the supplied material contributes and which subject details should remain recognisable. Keep one clear action and end state in the brief so a later variation can target a specific change. Retain the source material and selected prompt with the result.

Submit the shot once through /v1/videos, retain the returned request ID and poll that original operation through /v1/videos/{request\_id}. Save every completed video output and the complete response before reviewing the action, framing and end state against the brief.

### Pricing

##### How the final charge is calculated

The displayed rates estimate the cost before generation. The final charge is calculated from the cost recorded for the original generation. Measured output duration and forecast quantities are not the final billable quantity.

Tariff references do not add request options. Supported parameters are listed for the selected method.

Ailoot reserves an estimated amount before a request. After the result, it settles the final charge from measured usage. Streaming settlement uses the final usage record. [How reservation and settlement work →](https://ailoot.ai/docs/en/billing/reserve/)
