About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Fugu Ultra is Sakana AI’s depth-focused selection in the Fugu model-orchestration family. The manufacturer’s original Ultra release coordinates a deeper expert pool for difficult multi-step problems. Its stated applications include AI research, paper reproduction, code review, cybersecurity analysis and literature or patent investigations.

Fugu is itself a language model trained to coordinate other model contributions. It decides how to delegate, how the agents should communicate and how their work should be combined. The system manages selection, verification and synthesis inside one manufacturer model interface. The useful output is a final explanation, analysis or proposed source artifact tied to the user’s objective.

Ultra’s depth emphasis is useful for work that develops through several observations. The producer describes research tasks that explore an idea, run an experiment, interpret a failure and revise the approach. A task for the model should therefore identify the objective, the material to examine and the evidence that would justify keeping or rejecting a proposed result.

For paper reproduction, supply the relevant method, the implementation conditions and the observations from the current attempt. Ask for the steps needed to compare the implementation with the described method and for the unresolved differences. For literature analysis, define the scope and request the findings, their supporting passages and the gaps that affect the conclusion.

For code review, provide the actual source and the behavior being assessed. Ask for an explanation of each material finding and a check that could confirm it. For an authorized security review, define the system and scope and request a report with evidence and retest steps. These are ways to organize the manufacturer’s documented task areas, rather than guarantees about the outcome of a particular review.

Keep the unversioned Ultra selection distinct from the explicitly named Ultra v2 edition. Sakana develops the orchestration and its expert pool over time, so the family name does not pin an immutable composition. When an application runs external tools, return the observed result for the next step and use the final artifact to show what the task actually established.

Practical task

### Audit a paper-reproduction discrepancy

Technical example in English

```
Audit a paper-reproduction discrepancy
Compare this supplied method with the reproduction notes. Method M: normalize each feature using training-set mean and variance, then apply the same values to validation data. Notes N: normalization is fitted once on the combined training and validation rows. Explain the discrepancy, its consequence for evaluation and one focused rerun that would distinguish the corrected procedure.
```

#### Expected result

```
A source-linked reproduction finding, an explanation of leakage and one bounded correction-and-comparison experiment.
```

#### Check the result

```
The proposed correction fits normalization only on training data and does not invent the rerun's outcome.
```
