About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Sakana Namazu is Sakana AI’s language model adapted for Japanese and Japanese business contexts. Its producer builds on Kimi K2.6 and uses in-house data to tune Japanese responses, instruction following and agent-oriented work. The model handles text and images and produces textual results, including explanations, reports and proposed function calls.

Language adaptation is a central part of the model’s purpose. The manufacturer emphasizes natural Japanese business documents and email, honorific language, Japanese proper nouns and business customs. For a drafting or translation assignment, provide the audience, the relationship between the parties and the terminology that should remain consistent. Ask for the level of formality appropriate to that setting rather than treating every Japanese message as the same kind of communication.

The producer supplies web search and code execution as built-in tools in its Namazu service. Its research example plans an investigation, searches repeatedly, cross-checks information and writes a report. Its data-analysis example combines Japanese support questions with aggregation and analysis of order information. Those are tool-connected manufacturer workflows; an application using the model still needs the relevant access and observations for its own task.

For a market-research report, state the sector, period and questions to answer. A useful output separates sourced facts, interpretation and implications. For support analysis, provide the inquiry categories and the records permitted for the task, then ask for the main patterns and an explanation of the figures. Keep the data definitions and units visible so the result can be reviewed against the supplied records.

Namazu also supports image recognition and function calling. The manufacturer’s creative demonstration uses screenshots as feedback while the model decides the next action in an animated scene. An application can use the same pattern for visual feedback: provide the observed image, define the state to recognize and return the result of the executed action before asking for another step.

The model’s Japanese specialization complements its reasoning and coding work. Prepare a concrete deliverable such as a business reply, a bilingual revision, a research report or an analysis note. Retain the evidence and the task’s Japanese terminology over follow-up turns, and distinguish a suggested action from the action that the surrounding application actually performed.

Practical task

### Draft a Japanese business reschedule email

Technical example in English

```
Draft a Japanese business reschedule email
Draft a polite Japanese business email to an existing external partner, Ms Tanaka. Ask to move the meeting from 10:00 to 11:00 on the same Tuesday because the preceding workshop runs longer. Acknowledge the inconvenience and ask whether the new time suits her. Keep the date unspecified, preserve the two times, and do not imply she has accepted.
```

#### Expected result

```
A concise Japanese email with a subject, respectful greeting, reschedule request and confirmation question.
```

#### Check the result

```
The email uses appropriate partner-facing politeness and retains the request as pending rather than confirmed.
```
