## [wan2.7-image](https://ailoot.ai/models/en/wan2-7-image/)

A text-to-image model for preparing design variations and illustrations. According to Alibaba, this version is designed to generate images more quickly.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Wan2.7-Image creates images from a text prompt. The current Ailoot card presents text input and an image result. According to Alibaba, this version is designed to produce variations more quickly. The manufacturer's specification also provides editing, combinations of references and local changes; these require separate image-input support, which is not included in the card's current method.

#### Modes described by Alibaba

For reference mode, Alibaba provides for up to nine source images in a prompt. They guide an object's appearance, composition and details. The model can combine several materials into a new scene or modify an original image while preserving its main subject. Explicitly marked regions are provided for localized editing: up to two rectangular areas can be specified in one image.

In Alibaba's specification, ordinary mode produces one to four results. A sequential series allows up to 12 images linked by a story or shared character traits to be requested. For a series, this is an upper limit: the model determines the number of frames needed and may return fewer. The prompt and source material help maintain a common storyline.

A reasoning mode is provided for ordinary text-to-image generation without references or a sequential series. In this mode, the model analyzes a complex description more thoroughly before creating the image. The mode does not apply to image-based editing or a sequential series. A specified palette of 3–10 colors is available outside sequential series.

#### Input and result

In the manufacturer's modes using source images, JPEG, JPG, PNG without transparency, BMP and WEBP are supported. Each dimension may range from 240 to 8000 pixels, file size is limited to 20 MB and the aspect ratio ranges from 1:8 to 8:1.

Text prompts support Chinese and English and are limited to 5000 characters; any excess is truncated. This version does not provide a negative prompt or additional prompt expansion.

The output format is PNG, with resolution up to 2K. This designation concerns total pixel area, not a fixed maximum dimension length; the frame shape can be selected between 1:8 and 8:1. When editing with a preset resolution, the result retains the aspect ratio of the last reference. The same random seed helps produce similar variations but does not guarantee a complete match.

### Receive and save results

#### Ailoot · Images

Download each returned image or save its Base64 contents

- `GET /v1/media/tasks/{task_id}`
- `GET /v1/media/assets/{asset_id}/content`
- `GET /v1/media/assets`
- `GET /v1/media/assets/{asset_id}`

##### Keep all completed results

Save every completed image; retrieve each returned URL or decode its Base64 contents.

Save every data item. Decode each b64\_json or fetch every returned signed URL. Select a filename extension from the actual MIME/bytes.

##### If the original response needs checking

If an image generation or edit result requires a check, keep the original operation\_id/X-Client-Request-ID and returned result information. Recover existing owned results through the media library using actual task\_id or asset\_id values. Do not resubmit the generation/edit request or construct a polling URL from operation\_id.
