About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

GLM 4.5 is Z.ai’s foundation model built for agent-based applications. It uses a mixture-of-experts architecture and accepts text for text output. The current model profile lists a 128,000-token context window.

#### Define the decision or artifact needed next

Give the model the material to inspect and the result required. A programming task can provide the relevant source and observed behavior. A document task can name the passages and criteria for a comparison. Keep constraints and completed decisions explicit so a later step can continue from established work.

For extraction, specify the fields and treatment of absent information. For an explanation, ask for the conclusion and the evidence that supports it. Preserve source identifiers when the answer will be reviewed or used by another application stage.

#### Application actions and observations

Define the operations available to the application. A proposed action needs an actual observation after the application performs the operation. Return that observation as text with the operation and source state that give it meaning before using it in the next decision.

A returned record should be checked against its intended shape and source values. Keep a proposed action separate from evidence that it occurred, and preserve missing or conflicting information when the supplied material does not settle the question.

#### Use the context for relevant state

Leave room for the answer and organize longer material into named sources, completed work and open questions. Remove unrelated repetition while retaining facts needed for the current result. A useful GLM 4.5 artifact contains the answer or proposed change and the evidence needed to assess it in the surrounding workflow.

Practical task

### Continue from an actual lookup result

Technical example in English

```
Continue from an actual lookup result
Write the next customer reply from these labelled records. Request R: 'Has order Q51 shipped?' Proposed action A: look up shipping status. Actual result O: order Q51, packed, carrier handoff not recorded. Explain the current state in under 55 words and identify the next information needed. Do not turn the proposed lookup into a shipping event.
```

#### Expected result

```
A concise reply grounded in result O, distinguishing packed status from confirmed carrier handoff.
```

#### Check the result

```
The message does not say shipped or give a tracking number absent from the actual result.
```
