#### 第一個回應之後仍繼續的任務

Claude Fable 5 適用於要求高的工程與研究工作：拆解大型問題、連續執行動作，以及分析結果。Anthropic 著重軟體工程、專業分析、視覺理解與長時間自主任務。模型可在讀取素材、推理及呼叫工具的過程中，維持工作方向。

模型開發商為此流程描述了檔案式記憶：將重要資訊與工作筆記儲存在目前對話之外，並在繼續工作時使用。此功能須由應用程式提供讀取與寫入工具。僅靠脈絡大小及模型名稱，不會在彼此獨立的請求之間建立永久記憶。

#### 從科學圖示到工程專案

Fable 5 接受**文字與圖片**，以**文字**形成結果。視覺用途包括從細緻科學圖示中擷取數值，以及依螢幕截圖重建介面。這些任務中的圖片提供資料與範例，模型可將其連結到指令，並用於撰寫程式碼。

模型開發商的一般視覺輸入格式為 JPEG/PNG/GIF/WebP，動畫使用第一個影格。原生分析時，長邊為 2576 像素，使用 4784 個視覺 Token；較大圖片會在分析前縮小。檔案與參數支援取決於應用程式的方法。

Anthropic 也展示了物理模擬、互動程式及編輯器中的三維專案。這些情況下，模型透過程式碼與環境工具工作。要執行命令、變更檔案、操作編輯器及產出完成素材，應用程式須提供對應工具。這些用途不代表單次文字回應能自行生成圖片或三維檔案。

#### 持續啟用的自適應推理

Fable 5 的自適應推理**始終啟用**。工作深度由 `effort` 控制；標準等級為 `high`，也提供 `low`、`medium`、`xhigh` 及 `max`。模型可依任務複雜度進行額外分析，包括處理工具結果。原始內部推理鏈不會輸出；在應用程式提供對應呈現方式時，可取得簡短摘要。

脈絡視窗為**1 百萬個 Token**，回應上限為**128 千個 Token**。共用回應上限須同時保留推理與最終文字的空間。可靠的內建知識界線為**一月 2026 年**。

#### 長時間工作的環境

模型開發商描述了程式碼執行、以程式方式呼叫工具、管理較舊動作結果，以及壓縮歷史紀錄。應用程式支援這些功能時，可建立長時間工作流程。任務預算可引導工作量，但不會取代模型上限與環境限制。

防護機制可能拒絕敏感請求。

在支援相關設定的方法中，須遵守模型開發商限制：不支援從預先指定的開頭延續回應，也不支援 `temperature`、`top_p` 及 `top_k` 的非標準值。研究與開發時，須保留可檢查的素材及結果標準：持續工作的能力不保證每項結論或動作都正確。
