About the model
This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.
Aion 3.5 Mini is the Mini edition of Aion Labs’ 3.5 narrative-model family. The producer describes a collaborative generation process in which several specialised models contribute to a response. Its focus is immersive roleplay and storytelling with stronger narrative structure, tension, conflict and nuanced treatment of darker themes. Input and output are text. A useful brief defines the fictional setting, character roles and the change the scene should produce, then asks for the next passage or dialogue in a clear format.
The published profile has a 256K context and up to 32K output, matching the stated window and output ceiling of Aion 3.5. The edition remains distinct from Aion 3.0 Mini, whose documented context is smaller, and from the separate 8B Aion-RP model. Keep the relevant story history, world rules and character relationships together, while leaving room for reasoning and the continuation. A large context can carry more material; it does not make every detail equally relevant to the next scene.
Reasoning is enabled on every request. The accepted reasoning_effort levels are low, high and max, with high as the default; other values are rejected, and none does not disable thinking on this edition. The maker separates reasoning from visible response text by default. Its generation cap covers both, so an allowance spent during reasoning can leave no visible continuation. Specify the desired passage length and reserve enough generation space for the actual narrative, rather than treating the output ceiling as a guaranteed amount of visible prose.
For a roleplay brief, state who the model writes, which character the reader controls and which established facts must remain intact. Identify the immediate goal and the source of conflict without predetermining every line. An illustrative request can ask for a tense negotiation that changes the relationship between two fictional groups, ending at a point where the reader can choose the next action. Keep character decisions and knowledge consistent with the supplied scene history.
For revision, supply the passage and the specific problem: a weak transition, repeated exposition or a conflict resolved too quickly. Ask for a revised scene and a short explanation of the changes. The producer’s interface supports conversation history and streaming text, with a separate reasoning field for reasoning models. These are model-side workflow facts rather than a promise about every application’s controls. Aion 3.5 Mini’s useful result is a coherent text continuation or revision connected to the supplied fictional world.
Practical task
Negotiate a fictional truce
Technical example in English
Negotiate a fictional truce
Write only Captain Mara in this roleplay. I control the harbor envoy. Our fleets have one shared well, and Mara has promised her crew not to surrender it. The envoy says, 'Share the well or leave before dawn.' Give Mara two short spoken turns with one action beat, then pause for my choice.Expected result
Two short in-character dialogue turns, one action beat, and an unresolved decision for the envoy.Check the result
Mara must preserve the shared-well history and leave the reader-controlled envoy's response unwritten.Ailoot Ultra · OpenAI Chat POST /v1/chat/completions aion-labs/aion-3.5-mini
