Authentication

  • Authorizationheaderrequired

The key in the format Bearer sk-…. The following headers also work: x-api-key or x-goog-api-key.

Request body

  • modelstringrequired

    Image model: gpt-image-2.5-sunburst, gemini-3.1-flash-image, grok-imagine-image-2.0, qwen-image-3.0-pro, image-01, gpt-image-2, gemini-3.1-flash-lite-image, grok-imagine-image, wan2.7-image, gpt-image-2.5-sunburst-2026-09-08, gemini-3-pro-image, grok-imagine-image-quality and another 4.

  • promptstringrequired

    A description of the image.

  • nintegeroptional

Number of images to generate. You are charged for each completed image.

  • sizestringoptional

Size, for example 1024x1024. Supported sizes depend on the model.

  • qualitystringoptional

Quality, if supported by the model (for example, low, medium, high).

  • response_formatstringoptional

url or b64_json — if the model supports choosing the format.

Editing

POSThttps://api.ailoot.ai/v1/images/edits

Request multipart/form-data: the field image (one or more images), prompt, model, optionally mask.

Response

  • data[]array

Completed images: a URL in url or data in b64_json, depending on the model.

The OpenAI and Anthropic SDKs usually retry network errors and 5xx responses automatically. Disable this for generation requests (max_retries=0) and check X-Should-Retry before a new attempt. A lost response does not mean the request was not executed.
