Alibaba: Wan 3.0 Prime
Alibaba Wan 3.0 Prime is the speed-optimized Wan 3.0 video model. Its maker profile supports text, first-frame and first/last-frame generation, plus multimodal references, with integrated sound. It produces 2–30-second MP4 clips at 30 fps in 480p, 720p or 1080p, with adaptive framing and editing workflows.
About the model
This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.
Alibaba Wan 3.0 Prime is the accelerated edition of the Wan 3.0 video family. The manufacturer names it wan3.0-video-prime and documents the same all-in-one task categories as standard Wan 3.0, with speed as the edition’s distinguishing emphasis. A written brief, a starting image, visual or audio references, or source video can guide a clip with its sound. Useful artifacts include a product scene, a short narrative sequence, an animated still or a directed revision of an existing shot.
For text-to-video, describe the subject, scene, motion, camera, visual treatment and sound. The 3.0 guide supports single shots or a storyboard with shot labels and time ranges, recommending roughly four to six seconds per shot. For a product clip, move from a stable wide view of a bag on a table to a closer material detail, then hold a closing composition while a short line is spoken. Give the sequence one clear purpose and review whether the camera, pacing and product identity remain coherent.
For first-frame generation, the supplied image establishes the opening, and the prompt describes motion and camera work. First/last-frame generation supplies both endpoints and requests the transition between them. Prepare endpoints that belong to the same scene and a target shape consistent with the intended output. The maker recommends adaptive framing for image-based tasks. Endpoint mode and the separate reference modes have different material-combination rules: first or last frames are not mixed with reference-image, reference-video or reference-audio inputs in one request.
Reference mode accepts up to ten images, five video clips and five audio clips, within twenty multimodal reference materials. The documented per-file limits are 20 MB for a reference image, 100 MB for a video and 15 MB for audio. Reference video clips together may contain at most fifteen seconds; reference audio clips have their own fifteen-second combined allowance. Name each material’s role and use its type-specific index, such as Image 1, Video 1 or Audio 1. A person, a product, a camera movement and a voice should not be left as interchangeable references.
The maker also supports one document or one public web-page reference, which can accompany other reference materials. A file and web link are mutually exclusive, and the source needs to be reachable without a login. A document-based scene can use the relevant product or story content as context while a visual reference defines the appearance. Prepare the material that should actually inform the clip and state which elements matter. Review factual visual details and text in the generated scene against that source rather than accepting an attractive but altered rendition.
Voice dialogue, ambience, sound effects and background music are generated with the picture. Describe the spoken words, speaker identity, delivery and the sound’s place in the scene. The guide documents audio enabled by default and a silent-video control. In a dialogue, give speakers unique visual and voice cues and leave enough time for the exchange. Listen to the result for actual wording, speaker attribution and the relationship between an effect and the visible action. Integrated audio is part of the scene, so it needs the same review as the picture.
The all-in-one maker guide also documents editing and extension from reference video. An edit brief should state the element to add, remove or replace and the features to retain. An extension brief should describe content before, after or around the existing clip. Use adaptive framing and smart duration for these workflows. When video input is supplied, the documented combined input and output video duration must not exceed 30 seconds. Prepare the source passage and the intended change clearly; review the transition, retained subject and sound instead of judging only one appealing frame.
The documented output is MP4 at 30 fps, with 480p, 720p or 1080p resolution and new-generation duration from two to thirty seconds. Smart duration lets the model select a suitable length. Square, landscape and portrait framing are available, and adaptive framing follows supplied material. The maker processes generation as a job and returns the completed video location; its guide states that the result location is valid for twenty-four hours. Retain the actual clip and creative brief when preparing an edit or sequence, and inspect the complete artifact before using it.
Prime and standard Wan 3.0 share the documented modes and preparation structure. Prime is the speed-optimized choice, without a fixed completion-time guarantee. Earlier Wan 2.7 and 2.6 modes have their own duration, reference and output rules; those limits do not define this 3.0 edition. For a useful review, check object and character continuity, endpoint framing, requested edits, dialogue and any source-dependent details. Keep the next correction specific so successful elements of the scene remain stable while the identified issue is revised.
