Anthropic: Claude Sonnet 5 (batch)
Submit independent text tasks as a batch with unique custom_id values and a 24h completion-window option.
About the model
This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.
anthropic/claude-sonnet-5:batch is the batch entry for independent text requests, rather than an interactive chat selection. A suitable use is processing a collection of support conversations into separate summaries while allowing the application to collect the results later. Give each item a unique custom_id so its response can be matched to the original conversation.
Submit the inline requests array to /v1/batches with endpoint set to /v1/chat/completions and the batch model ID. Each item contains body.messages; completion_window accepts 24h. This entry uses balance billing; creating a batch job using subscription billing is rejected. The accepted batch input is text even though broader model-family metadata lists other modalities. Plan result collection as a batch workflow instead of waiting for a live assistant turn.
