Kling: Video v3.0 Standard

Kling VIDEO 3.0 Standard is Kuaishou’s 720p video profile for text and image briefs. Create three-to-fifteen-second scenes with native audio, subject references, start/end-frame guidance and single- or multi-shot storytelling.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Kling VIDEO 3.0 Standard is Kuaishou’s 720p profile for generating a video scene from text or a supplied image. It uses the VIDEO 3.0 edition’s native audio, subject references and multi-shot storytelling, with a flexible clip duration from three to fifteen seconds. This profile is useful for developing a visual direction, previewing a short narrative or creating a compact scene with a defined action and sound.

For a text-led scene, establish the subject, setting, action, lighting and camera behaviour. For an image-led scene, prepare an opening image that clearly shows the appearance and composition you intend to animate. An original brief could show a character beside a workshop table, then describe the character picking up a small object while the camera moves closer to the action. Keep the subject’s movement separate from the camera’s movement in the wording.

Multi-shot generation can automatically plan coverage from the scene description. Custom multi-shot direction instead assigns content and duration to individual shots. The maker’s custom-shot profile accepts one to six shots, at most 512 characters per shot, and at least one second for each. The shot durations must add up to the total clip length. When one continuous view communicates the scene clearly, a single-shot brief avoids an unnecessary transition.

A short storyboard can begin with a view of the setting, move to the action and end on the detail that explains the result. Specify which subject remains in each shot and how the framing changes. The automatic mode can adapt the coverage to the scene, while a custom sequence gives explicit instructions for its separate parts. A normal single prompt accepts up to 2,500 characters in the maker’s reference.

Subject-reference controls help anchor characters, objects and a setting. Use clear reference material and give each subject a stable description. The documented image-led profile allows up to three prepared elements. For an illustrated product scene, one reference can establish the object while the opening composition establishes where it sits; the motion brief then describes the event that happens around it. Check the completed appearance across the shot rather than assuming the reference prevents every change.

Start and end frames can guide an image-conditioned transition towards a desired final composition. Use frames that communicate a plausible connection and describe the action between them. The maker’s image profile accepts JPG, JPEG and PNG, no larger than 10 MB, with dimensions of at least 300 pixels; the starting image’s aspect ratio must fall between 1:2.5 and 2.5:1. Prepare the frame materials for that task instead of treating a storyboard description as an interchangeable input bundle.

The Standard profile can generate native audio when that mode is enabled; the maker’s reference defaults audio to off. Describe spoken lines, atmosphere and relevant sound as part of the scene. VIDEO 3.0 supports Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean and Spanish speech treatments, including code-switching and supported accents or dialects. The maker’s guide says dialogue entered in another language is translated into English. Make the speaking subject clear in a multi-character scene and keep the words short enough for the intended performance.

An original dialogue brief can assign a line to Speaker A, a visible reaction to Speaker B and a change in viewpoint that follows the exchange. Describe the setting’s sound separately from the dialogue, so a background effect does not become an ambiguous instruction about speech. Use reference material to establish the subjects’ appearance and the text to establish what they do and say.

Visible lettering is another part of the 3.0 workflow. A source image can contain a sign, caption or product label whose appearance matters during animation. Identify that text and its role in the scene, then inspect the result for spelling, readability and stability. For a short campaign visual, keep the important message prominent in the composition instead of relying on a very small background label.

Standard output is 720p. Pro is the separately selected 1080p profile, and native 4K is another producer mode rather than an automatic Standard setting. The text-led aspect-ratio choices include 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1. Choose the format and framing for the intended placement, then maintain that visual direction while comparing changes to action, light or shot order.

A completed generation provides a video artifact with its actual duration. The maker’s result documentation says generated videos are deleted after 30 days, so save the completed clip promptly. Keep the scene brief, reference images and selected profile with the clip so later revisions have a consistent starting point. Review the visual action, subject continuity, camera coverage, dialogue and lettering in the context where the clip will be used. A focused correction to the failed detail is more useful than replacing the entire scene brief with unrelated instructions.
