Nex AGI: Nex-N2.5-Pro

Nex-N2.5-Pro is Nex AGI’s multimodal agent edition for computer use, browsing and long-horizon productivity tasks. It uses visual feedback, function calls and direct, adaptive or thinking modes to connect a defined goal with text, code and proposed application actions.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Nex-N2.5-Pro is Nex AGI’s named multimodal Pro edition for long-horizon tasks in real-world environments. Together with mini, it continues the visual foundations of Nex-N2, with focused improvements in computer use, web browsing and visually grounded agent work. It remains separate from the family’s text-only Max model; a Pro task can use visual observations to check what has changed and decide how to proceed.

Goal, source and environment

Prepare a productivity assignment with its actual sources and a clear result: a completed comparison, a code change or a specific state reached in an application. Give the model the relevant screenshot or document context and state the allowed actions. A practical brief is: “Use these sources and screen observations to complete the comparison, verify each required field and return the final record with the evidence supporting it.”

For an interface task, preserve visible labels and identify the state that would establish completion. For program work, provide the implementation, observed failure and behaviour to preserve. These inputs connect the agent’s decisions with the user’s goal rather than allowing a plan to become an assumed completed result.

Visual feedback and self-correction

The manufacturer trains the family to act continuously and self-correct from environmental feedback. The model can interpret a screen and propose a function or operation, while the application performs it and returns the resulting visual or textual observation. Compare that observation with the stated goal before deciding whether the next action is needed.

Keep source and operation identifiers with their results. If a task produces code, the application obtains the actual execution or validation feedback. If a browser task changes a state, the new screen is the evidence of what occurred. A generated instruction, proposed coordinate or written validation command remains distinct from its execution.

Thinking modes and producer guidance

Nex-N2.5 uses reasoning_effort for three modes. None returns a direct answer. Medium is the adaptive default, letting the model choose whether and how much to reason. High always enables thinking before the final response. The producer recommends temperature 0.7, top-p 0.95 and top-k 40 for its reference profile.

Define the final artifact independently of the reasoning mode, including its language, mandatory details and handling of missing information. The native template uses reasoning_effort; another model’s thinking flag is not an interchangeable control without the surrounding workflow’s explicit translation.

Function calling and useful artifacts

The producer documents structured function calls and parsing of reasoning separately from the final response. Supply functions with precise purposes and parameter definitions. Use returned observations to support the continuing task, and specify which result allows it to finish. For research or knowledge work, provide authoritative passages or suitable lookup functions so conclusions can be traced to actual evidence.

Long-horizon work accumulates context from sources, screens, conversation, reasoning and tool returns. Keep relevant observations organised and preserve the completion criterion through follow-ups. The maker’s Pro identity does not itself establish an undocumented parameter count or a universal input/output ceiling.

The useful deliverable is a text explanation, code artifact or completed analytical record that can be reviewed against the sources and environmental observations. Pro retains its own multimodal edition and mode controls, without inheriting the Max model’s text-only architecture or assuming every proposed cross-application operation has already executed.

Practical task

Verify a textual screen-state change

Technical example in English

Verify a textual screen-state change

Compare these recorded interface observations. [Before] Invoice I-72: draft; approve button visible. [Action] User clicked approve. [After] Invoice I-72: pending review; approval ID blank. Required completion: approved status with a populated approval ID. State whether completion is established and identify the next evidence to obtain. Use only the recorded text.

Expected result

A before/action/after comparison, an explicit completion finding and one next evidence request.

Check the result

Ensure a clicked button is not treated as proof of approved status or an approval ID.
