About the model
This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.
Nemotron 3 Super is NVIDIA’s open hybrid mixture-of-experts model for complex agent applications. It has 120 billion total parameters and activates 12 billion parameters. The architecture combines Mamba and Transformer components. Text input produces text output, with reasoning, function tools and structured-output controls in the published hosting profile.
Coordinate a task around its evidence
Identify the result needed and the information that determines each step. A coding task can provide the affected source, observed behavior and acceptance conditions. A comparison can supply the alternatives and criteria, with named sources for the facts being evaluated. Keep the objective visible as intermediate observations are added.
For work involving several related operations, preserve which action produced each observation. An application performs a proposed tool operation and returns its actual result to the model. That result can then support a later decision or reveal the next question to resolve.
Reasoning and structured artifacts
Specify the depth and final deliverable required by the problem. A concise answer can still need substantial analysis of a difficult case. For software processing, define the expected fields and types, then validate the returned structure and contents against their sources.
Keep source identifiers, assumptions and relevant tool results with a report or planning record. For code, retain the proposed or applied change and the checks that assess its intended behavior. This makes the output useful beyond the conversation in which it was produced.
Context for sustained work
The hosted catalogue profile lists a 262,144-token context window. Plan around the serving interface’s actual working allowance, reserving room for the answer. Retain decisions and evidence needed for the current task while removing unrelated repetition.
A useful Super result leaves an inspectable artifact and the state required for the next step. The model supplies text and tool requests; the surrounding application supplies the operations and actual observations that complete a larger workflow.
Practical task
Assemble an evidence-based incident handoff
Technical example in English
Assemble an evidence-based incident handoff
Prepare an incident handoff from three observations. Monitor M: checkout error rate rose at 10:05. Deployment D: release 6.4 finished at 10:00. Database B: connection pool was exhausted at 10:06. Separate the timeline, plausible investigation leads and facts still needed. Keep observation labels beside claims and do not assert that deployment caused the errors.Expected result
A labelled timeline, bounded investigation leads and a short list of evidence needed to distinguish causes.Check the result
Temporal proximity is not presented as established causality, and all times and labels remain intact.Ailoot · Anthropic Messages POST /v1/messages nvidia/nemotron-3-super-120b-a12b

Keep all completed results
Keep every complete returned response, file and content part.
Keep every choice and its content/tool calls/reasoning. In SSE assemble deltas by choice/tool index, retain the final finish reason and usage.
If the original response needs checking
Keep request/response IDs and headers. No generic text job retrieval URL is supplied.
