About the model
This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.
Qwen-MT-Lite is the compact translation member of Alibaba’s Qwen model series. Alibaba describes it for simple, latency-sensitive translation, with terminology intervention, format preservation and domain-specific handling. Lite has its own supported language set.
Translate a clearly bounded item
Start with one article section, customer message or product description. Identify the source and target languages and the reader’s context. Supply established translations for product names, technical terms and recurring phrases, together with words that should remain unchanged.
Keep the original structure visible
Retain headings, bullet points and identifiers in the submitted material. Explain which elements are functional, such as a variable name or a software label. When several related items need translation, keep their identifiers so each result can return to the correct place.
Check meaning and completeness
Compare the source and translation for missing clauses, changed numbers and inconsistent terminology. Confirm that the chosen languages belong to Lite’s own supported set. For specialized material, have a reviewer check the terms that affect the reader’s decision or action. Manufacturer translation features do not by themselves establish which option controls a particular integration exposes.
