Sao10K: Llama 3.3 Euryale 70B

Sao10K’s Euryale v2.3 is a Llama 3.3 70B Instruct fine-tune for conversational and creative text. The creator specifies Llama 3 Instruct prompting, roleplay-oriented training data and a published 131,072-position configuration.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Llama 3.3 Euryale 70B v2.3 is Sao10K’s Euryale edition built on Llama 3.3 70B Instruct. The creator identifies it as the successor to Euryale v2.2 and keeps it separate from Hanami-x1. It takes written instructions and conversation and produces text, with roleplay and creative-instruction material in the published training recipe.

The creator’s configuration has 80 Transformer layers, 64 query attention heads and eight key/value heads. Its maximum position count is 131,072, with Llama 3 rotary scaling. The training recipe uses sequences of 16,384 tokens. These are different properties: the training sequence length is not the same number as the published model configuration’s maximum position count.

The producer recommends Llama 3 Instruct formatting and stresses the importance of the system prompt. Its sample settings use temperature 1.1 and minimum-probability sampling of 0.1. These are the creator’s recommendations for this edition, rather than a fixed output style or a promise that every application exposes those controls.

For a character conversation, provide the persona, the scene, the relationship between speakers and the latest exchange. State which character the next response belongs to and where the turn should end. A concrete system instruction can define the voice and the facts to retain, while the user message supplies the next event or question.

For creative prose, supply the passage and specify the change you want: a continuation, a revision of tone or a clearer exchange between characters. Keep the important scene facts visible and distinguish them from stylistic preferences. A useful output can be one revised passage that preserves the action, followed by a short explanation when an explanation is requested.

The model’s v2.3 identity matters when comparing it with earlier Euryale releases: it uses the Llama 3.3 Instruct base and its own training recipe and settings. The creator’s short release note provides that scope, while the resulting draft remains something to review for the requested voice, continuity and instruction adherence. It does not establish visual inputs, external tool execution or a separate controllable reasoning stage.

Practical task

Continue a reluctant guide roleplay

Technical example in English

Continue a reluctant guide roleplay

Write only Ivo, an old mountain guide who distrusts the royal expedition. I control the expedition leader. The bridge is gone, Ivo knows a dangerous ridge path, and the leader says, 'You owe us a route.' Give Ivo two short replies with a physical gesture between them, then pause before the leader decides.

Expected result

Two in-character replies, one gesture and an open decision for the reader-controlled leader.

Check the result

Preserve the lost bridge and Ivo's distrust without writing the leader's response or resolving the journey.
