TheDrummer: Skyfall 36B V2

Skyfall 36B v2 is the creator’s enlarged Mistral Small 2501 model with continued training for creative writing and roleplay. It supports several prompt formats, with Mistral v7 Tekken preferred, and has a 32,768-position configuration.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Skyfall 36B v2 is the creator’s enlarged version of Mistral Small 2501, with continued training for creativity and roleplay. It takes written prompts and generates text for narrative and conversational tasks. The v2 edition remains distinct from the original source model and from separately converted Skyfall artifacts.

The published configuration uses 64 Transformer layers, 32 query attention heads and eight key/value heads. Its maximum position count is 32,768, with no rotary scaling configured. The model’s enlarged layer structure and its own context configuration distinguish it from simply selecting the original Mistral Small base.

The creator recommends Mistral v7 Tekken prompting most strongly. Metharme is listed but not recommended, while Alpaca is presented as an interesting choice for story or choose-your-own-adventure work. These are the published prompting preferences for this edition; a supported format is not the same as a guaranteed style of response.

For a roleplay scene, provide the character’s voice, the setting and the latest exchange. State what the next turn should address and which participant the model writes for. A clear stopping point leaves room for the user’s next contribution. For a branching story, define the current situation and ask for the next passage with a limited set of choices that fit the established events.

For a prose revision, supply the passage and the editorial change required. Identify the details that should remain while the wording, pacing or tone changes. Review the output against the scene facts and the instruction, rather than accepting a fluent continuation that shifts the character or setting.

For the next story turn, specify the viewpoint, the active choices and the point where the model should stop. Its documented emphasis is the continued creative and roleplay training and the prompting formats. Use the resulting text as a draft to inspect, and keep the original, quantized and converted artifacts distinct when identifying the model.

Practical task

Continue an archivist roleplay

Technical example in English

Continue an archivist roleplay

Write the archivist's next three dialogue lines. Setting: a sealed observatory; the visitor seeks a map that the archivist promised never to reveal. Voice: precise and weary, with no modern slang. The visitor offers a broken star compass as proof of urgency. Let the archivist recognise it, introduce a dilemma and stop before deciding whether to give the map. Do not write the visitor's reply.

Expected result

Three in-character archivist lines that acknowledge the compass and leave the central choice unresolved.

Check the result

The promise remains meaningful, and no action or dialogue is assigned to the visitor.
