ReMM SLERP 13B

Undi95’s ReMM SLERP 13B recreates the MythoMax idea using updated Llama 2 model components and a SLERP merge. It generates text from Alpaca-style instructions, with a published 4096-position configuration.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

ReMM SLERP 13B is Undi95’s experimental recreation of the MythoMax model with updated components. The producer first reconstructs the Mythologic-style component and then combines it with an updated Huginn component using spherical interpolation, or SLERP. The result is a distinct Llama 2-family merge, rather than the original MythoMax checkpoint or a quantized edition of it.

The model takes a written instruction and generates text. Its creator publishes an Alpaca-style prompt with separate instruction and response sections. Place the task in the instruction section and leave the response section for the generated continuation. For a conversation or scene, include the background that the next reply needs instead of relying on information absent from the prompt.

The creator’s recipe updates the component mixture used in the recreation, then gives equal weights to the two final components in the SLERP step. The published repository configuration sets 4096 maximum positions, with 40 Transformer layers and no rotary scaling configuration. That context includes the supplied material and generated continuation; the published merge does not establish an extended-context variant.

A useful creative-writing trial can provide a character description, the setting and the previous exchange, then ask for a single continuation with a defined tone. For a revision, supply the passage and specify which details should remain while the wording changes. Compare the draft with the requested voice and the established story facts before making it the next part of the scene. These are illustrative text tasks for the recreated model, not a claim that its behavior matches the original MythoMax in every case.

Practical task

Continue a lighthouse scene

Technical example in English

Continue a lighthouse scene

Continue this fictional exchange in three short lines of dialogue. Setting: a foggy lighthouse; Mira is a cautious keeper who never abandons the lamp. Visitor: "There is a bell sounding below the cliff." Mira: "That bell was removed last winter." Keep the restrained mystery, give Mira a practical question and leave the bell unexplained.

Expected result

Three short dialogue lines that continue the established scene and preserve Mira’s role and unresolved mystery.

Check the result

Check that Mira does not abandon the lamp and no explanation for the removed bell is resolved prematurely.
