v0-1.0-md

v0 1.0 Medium is the earlier named Medium profile in Vercel’s composite web-development model family. It combines code generation with specialized retrieval, a Quick Edit path and AutoFix, while preserving its own profile identity.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

v0 1.0 Medium is the earlier Medium profile named in Vercel’s v0 composite model family. Its maker describes a workflow that joins a base language model with specialized context retrieval, fast narrow edits and automated correction of generated code. The profile is intended for producing and revising web-application artifacts.

Give the code task its application context

Provide the feature or page to work on, the framework in use and the relevant existing source. State what the resulting controls and data flow should do. For a revision, identify the current artifact and explain which details should change and which behavior should remain.

A useful final result can be a component, a complete page or a patch. Ask for the form needed by your development environment and keep the requested behavior close to the code it affects.

Understand preparation and editing

The maker’s composite workflow prepares the conversation with relevant context and retrieves specialized material, including documentation and UI examples. A base model handles new generations or larger changes, while Quick Edit handles narrower requests such as wording changes, syntax corrections and component reordering.

AutoFix checks the output stream and applies a further pass after generation, with linting for simple errors and style issues. These are stages of preparing the artifact. Run and inspect the returned code in the actual application to establish the user-visible behavior.

Preserve the earlier profile

The published profile lists a 128,000-token working context. Supply the sources needed for the task and leave room for the response. A follow-up can give an observed error or a targeted change while retaining the original completion conditions.

The maker distinguishes 1.0 Medium from the 1.5 profiles and describes a base component that can be replaced within the composite architecture. Keep this exact earlier identity with the artifact when comparing results; it is not a request for a later profile or a guarantee of one fixed base-model checkpoint.

Practical task

Build an accessible expandable FAQ

Technical example in English

Build an accessible expandable FAQ

Create a self-contained HTML and CSS FAQ with three questions: opening hours, returns and delivery. Use native details and summary elements so each answer opens by keyboard or pointer. Include short placeholder answers clearly labelled as sample text. Return the complete page and a brief manual-check list; do not require JavaScript or an external framework.

Expected result

A complete editable HTML page with native expandable questions, accompanying CSS and a short interaction-check list.

Check the result

Tab and keyboard activation reach each summary, answers expand without JavaScript, and sample text is visibly identified.
