voyage-law-2
Legal-domain text embeddings for finding relevant clauses or passages through a text-to-vector route.
About the model
This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.
voyage-law-2 is Voyage’s legal-domain embedding model. Choose it for a clause-retrieval index, such as finding agreement passages related to a question about termination rights. It produces numerical representations for similarity search rather than a legal opinion or a prose answer.
Ailoot’s /v1/embeddings request accepts one text string or a string array through input. The response returns indexed vectors; keep each vector with the original clause number and document reference. The compact route exposes model and input only: Voyage’s upstream input_type query/document selector is not a declared parameter here. Use a consistent preparation convention and this exact model for indexed passages and queries. The application performs the actual search and presents the retrieved wording for review.
