Praktische Aufgabe
Praktische Aufgabe
Technisches Beispiel auf Englisch
Preserve evaluation order in a compiler rewrite
A compiler optimizer replaces f() * 0 with 0. In this language, function calls may log messages or raise errors, and left-to-right evaluation is observable. Explain why the rewrite is unsafe, give the condition under which it would be valid and propose two regression tests. Return a focused optimization rule rather than a whole compiler design.Erwartetes Ergebnis
A concise diagnosis, a guarded rewrite rule and two tests covering observable effects.Ergebnis prüfen
The rule does not discard a call unless its lack of observable effects is established.Ailoot · Anthropic Messages POST /v1/messages k3-256k
