Recraft: Recraft V4.1 Pro
Recraft V4.1 Pro generates detailed 2K raster images for expressive photography, illustration and larger creative assets. It combines V4.1’s natural photorealism and short-prompt interpretation with optional style references and image-to-image workflows.
About the model
This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.
Recraft V4.1 Pro is the higher-resolution raster edition of Recraft’s expressive V4.1 generation family. The manufacturer emphasises natural photorealism, deliberate composition and illustration styles that can be developed from a short creative direction. Pro is intended for work where finer detail and a larger raster result matter, including substantial marketing visuals and print-oriented layouts. It is distinct from Utility Pro’s simpler presentation and from Pro Vector’s editable SVG output.
The exact model is recraftv4_1_pro. Its producer reference lists 2K output in lossless WebP or PNG. The square size is 2048 × 2048 pixels; 16:9 is 2688 × 1536 and 3:4 is 1792 × 2432, with other allowed ratios mapped to their own dimensions. Use an aspect ratio for the intended layout or an exact size from the producer table. The Pro name does not make every composition square, and it does not turn a raster image into vector geometry.
V4.1 can interpret a brief direction while supplying choices of light, mood and composition. This is useful for exploring an editorial photograph, a stylised illustration or a dimensional visual with reflective materials. A rendered 3D look remains an image rather than an editable three-dimensional scene. When a specific art direction is needed, describe the subject and scene, framing, material behaviour, light direction, background and visual hierarchy instead of expecting an open-ended prompt to resolve every detail in the intended way.
For an editorial photograph, request a close view of a brushed-metal lamp in soft window light, a warm lived-in interior and a calm composition with room for a caption. A more illustrative brief might specify broad colour shapes, a lively character pose and a restrained background. Supply the intended use and the details that distinguish the subject, then examine the larger output for material, anatomy and composition. The result is a creative asset guided by the brief, not an observation of a real scene.
Generation accepts prompts up to 10,000 characters, preferred colours, a desired background colour, a random seed and one to six outputs. Optional style references or compatible saved styles can provide a repeated visual treatment, with flexible or precise matching. Use coherent, clear references and specify the content in the prompt; exact colour matching from a reference is not guaranteed. V4.1 excludes negative_prompt, curated style names, text_layout, artistic_level and no_text, so these controls should not be imported from older editions. For reference-style generation, use one to ten PNG, JPG or WebP images, no more than 64 MB in total and under 20 MB each. Each reference needs a shortest side of at least 256 pixels, a longest side of no more than 4,096 pixels and a resolution of no more than 16 megapixels. Use either these references or a compatible saved style, rather than both.
Recraft’s separate image-to-image operation supports the V4.1 family with an existing image, a prompt and strength from 0 to 1. It can preserve aspects of the source while changing others; lower strength stays closer, and higher strength permits more change. That operation does not take V4.1 custom style controls. Prepare the source image within the documented image limits and state both the desired change and the attributes that should inform the new result. For a final asset, inspect the output in the actual composition, especially its fine detail, lettering and crop. For image-to-image, supply PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG under 20 MB, no more than 16 megapixels, with both sides between 256 and 4,096 pixels.

How the final charge is calculated
The displayed rates estimate the cost before generation. The final charge is calculated from the cost recorded for the original generation. Measured output duration and forecast quantities are not the final billable quantity.
