Recraft: Recraft V4.1 Vector

Recraft V4.1 Vector generates editable SVG logos, lettering and illustrations from text, with optional image and style inputs. It is the standard vector edition of V4.1 for graphics that need scalable geometry and later design adjustments.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Recraft V4.1 Vector is the standard SVG model in Recraft’s V4.1 family. Its role is creating illustrations, logos and lettering that can be reshaped, recoloured and used as vector assets. It accepts a text brief and can work with image inputs through the producer’s documented style or image-to-image workflows. The resulting SVG is a different deliverable from V4.1’s WebP or PNG raster image; this edition should be identified by the vector format rather than by a raster resolution label.

The exact variant is recraftv4_1_vector, distinct from recraftv4_1_pro_vector and the Utility Vector models. The size guide says all vector variants accept fourteen aspect ratios as width-to-height ratios and produce SVG with no fixed pixel dimensions. Use that proportion to establish the desired composition, such as a square icon or a wide logo. The eventual display size can then be chosen in the design workflow rather than being fixed by a 1K raster output.

The manufacturer positions V4.1 Vector for expressive typography and clean illustration. A useful brief states the object or word, geometric character, line weight, fill treatment and colour system. For a bakery symbol, request a small graphic with one curved grain stalk, a bold silhouette and warm two-colour fills. Name important spatial relationships explicitly instead of relying on a broad phrase such as modern logo. For a family of icons, keep the structural rules stable and vary the named object.

Optional custom styles can guide the same visual treatment through compatible saved styles or reference images. V4.1 supports preferred colours, a desired background colour, a random seed and prompts up to 10,000 characters; the generation workflow can return one to six outputs. A reference style is optional for this main-line model and must be compatible with the model used to create it. Use clean references from the same visual world; exact reference-to-output colour matching is not guaranteed. For reference-style generation, use one to ten PNG, JPG or WebP images, no more than 64 MB in total and under 20 MB each. Each reference needs a shortest side of at least 256 pixels, a longest side of no more than 4,096 pixels and a resolution of no more than 16 megapixels. Use either these references or a compatible saved style, rather than both. For reference-style generation, flexible matching allows a looser interpretation, while precise matching follows the rendering, palette, composition and lighting more closely.

The separate image-to-image operation can return SVG when a vector V4.1 model is chosen. Supply an existing image and describe the desired change, with strength from 0 to 1 indicating how far the result may move from the source. The operation supports PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG input under 20 MB, up to 16 MP, with sides between 256 and 4096 pixels. V4.1 style matching controls are not supported in that transformation operation; a style reference for generation and an image to transform have different roles.

The current V4.1 reference excludes curated style names, negative_prompt, text_layout, artistic_level and no_text. Describe the intended positive layout and text instead of transferring controls from V3. Inspect a generated logo or illustration as an SVG: lettering, silhouettes, colour regions and small details need to work in the actual composition. Its practical advantage is an editable vector starting point that follows a specific design brief, not an assumption that every returned graphic needs no finishing.

Through Ailoot, select this exact model ID in /v1/images/generations and supply the creative prompt. Ailoot’s listed reference-image profile accepts an optional input_references array containing at most one image_url entry. Retain every returned data entry, whether the response carries a URL or encoded image content, and save the actual bytes with their returned content type. Keep usage and any media task_id with the asset, then review its shapes, lettering and colour regions in the intended design.

How the final charge is calculated

The displayed rates estimate the cost before generation. The final charge is calculated from the cost recorded for the original generation. Measured output duration and forecast quantities are not the final billable quantity.
