Meta: Muse Image

Muse Image creates and revises images from text and visual references. Use meta/muse-image with the Images method to describe a new composition or guide a change with an existing image. It returns image outputs in a complete response, with no native image streaming listed for this profile.

About the model

This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.

Muse Image is Meta’s image-generation model selected with the exact ID meta/muse-image. Its documented inputs are text and images, and its output is an image. Use the Images method at POST /v1/images/generations to prepare a written brief for a new visual or a reference-guided revision. The prompt should say what to create and what visual relationship matters to the result.

For a new composition, describe the subject, setting, lighting, palette and viewpoint. Explain the destination when it affects the design, such as a landscape cover with the subject placed away from a text area. A scene brief might request a glass vessel on a stone ledge, a low viewpoint, cool morning light and a restrained background. Specific visual instructions give you concrete details to compare with the completed image.

For a revision, supply the relevant image through input_references and identify the desired change. The documented reference representation accepts an HTTP(S) image URL or a base64 data URL. Explain which source details should carry into the revision, such as the subject’s shape, the framing or the overall colour treatment, and describe the element that should change. Keep the source and revision together when deciding whether the result fits the task.

The dedicated model profile lists text-and-image input, image output and no native streaming. Use the complete image response as the result. Keep every image in the completed data array. For b64_json output, decode the image bytes; for a returned image URL, retrieve the actual image file. Use the returned media_type when available, and preserve the accompanying response and usage information.

Keep the selected configuration with the visual brief. After completion, inspect the subject details, composition, reference relationship and any lettering against the brief. Keep the chosen output, source references and prompt so a later revision starts from a known image and an explicit change.

How the final charge is calculated

The displayed rates estimate the cost before generation. The final charge is calculated from the cost recorded for the original generation. Measured output duration and forecast quantities are not the final billable quantity.

Tariff references do not add request options. Supported parameters are listed for the selected method.
