About the model
This description covers the model’s capabilities. Available in Ailoot inputs, outputs and options are listed for the selected method below.
GLM-4.6V-Flash is the 9B Flash version of Z.ai’s GLM-4.6V family, focused on visual understanding and low-latency applications. The manufacturer describes multimodal function calling, document interpretation and frontend reconstruction from screenshots. The model combines a visual question with generated text; its tool requests depend on an application supplying and executing the tools.
Supply readable visual evidence
For a document, preserve page layout, tables and figure labels. For a screenshot, state the target task, the component to inspect and any behavior the image alone cannot show. Request the needed artifact: extracted facts, a comparison, an interface analysis or proposed HTML and CSS.
Check perception-dependent details
Z.ai identifies remaining weaknesses in counting, recognizing particular individuals, pure-text questions and repetitive reasoning. Check counts and visual claims against the material, and keep the question focused enough to review the answer against the original page or image.
Through Ailoot, use the exact model ID in /v1/chat/completions and keep the image with its question in the conversation. The image content form uses image_url; supported image sources can carry an image address or base64 data URI. Collect the full JSON answer or all SSE segments when stream is enabled, and retain usage with the completed result.
